16 sets of solar panels and 4 sets of solar water heaters were installed in secondary schools, medical stations, territorial hospitals and maternity houses of villages of Ayni and Kuhistoni Mastchoh districts.
Solar electricity in secondary schools, depending on the size of the buildings, mainly supplied technology and computer labs. In other, like hospitals, maternity hospitals and nursing stations, were installed almost all rooms. And solar water heaters were installed in two schools and two maternity hospitals.
The project was implemented in summer 2021, with support of ACTED Tajikistan.
