Solar power in 25 rural households in Sangvor district.

Solar power sets have been installed in 25 rural households in Sangvor district that are not yet connected to the state power line due to their inaccessibility. These households are located in Naiguft village, the Nad section of Sikad village, and Arzing village, which is the farthest remote village in the Tavildara Gorge.

Each installed set consists of two 100 Watts solar panels, one 1 KVA inverter and one special 12 V, 100 Ah battery.

With such a set, residents can provide their homes with lighting, watching TV, and charge their cell phones.

Also, in the framework of this project, a 3kW solar power plant was installed in Naiguft and Arsing elementary schools.

The project is supported by the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe and will be implemented by LLC “Technologiyahoi Sabz” in October 2022.
